May 1993 The Serenity Center, Inc. established in Kings Contrivance business park
June 1994 Living in the Light 12-step book & gift shop opens at The Serenity Center
September 1995 Center moves to another building within Kings Contrivance business park
September 2000 Variety Show at Kittamaqundi Community Church
January 2001 The Serenity Center moves to Talbott Springs neighborhood
February 2002 Variety Show at Toby’s Dinner Theatre
September 2002 Fundraiser at Annapolis Seafood Festival
September 2003 2nd Fundraiser at Annapolis Seafood Festival
October 2003 Letter of Intent to purchase The Serenity Center property
September 2004 Closing on purchase of The Serenity Center property
February 2005 Wedding ceremony and celebration hosted at the Center
May 2008 Endowment Fund established with The Columbia Foundation (now CFHoCo)
May 2009 Audrey Robbins Team of the Year Award in Howard County
August 2009 Howard County’s Community Service Program relocates to the Center
February 2012 Two new HVACs installed
May 2012 Parking lot and storm drain refurbished
October 2012 Outdoor benches upgraded
